Biscuit Pizza – Kid-Friendly Dinner

Print Friendly

Here’s an example of how I was able to use something I got for nearly free at the store, combined with leftovers, to make a new meal!

I recently purchased 8 cans of canned biscuits, these aren’t something I normally purchase but after coupons and a rebate I got 4 for free and the other 4 for less than $.25 per can.

I happened to have some leftover cheese, half a jar of spaghetti sauce and a few slices of pepperoni so I experimented one day and decided to use the biscuits as pizza dough. The results were so good that I openly admit that we have had biscuit pizzas for lunch three times and dinner once last week.

Hey, don’t judge ;)

Step 1: Flatten the biscuits with your palms and place on ungreased baking sheet

Step 2: Top as desired. I used some mix ‘n matched leftover shredded cheese, leftover pasta sauce and put some leftover pepperoni on a few

Step 3: bake according to directions on the biscuits (or at 350 for about 15 minutes)

Step 4: Serve with a salad or whatever veggies you have on hand (or top the pizzas with veggies!) and you have a meal. I served ours with green beans and leftover beets, I know, not the best match but it filled our bellies.
