My husband is sooooo right. (Shhh! Don’t let him know I said that!)
I am impatient. I had all intentions of enjoying my weekend and putting this giveaway up on Monday, but ya know what? I didn’t feel like waiting.
The 5 Money Personalities by Scott & Bethany Palmer is a great book for anyone who has argued with a partner over money, or anyone about to say the big “I do”, or anyone who just wants to understand their brains a little better.
Someone is going to win a copy of this book! And even better, it’ll be autographed by me! I have nothing to do with the book, I just want to have the experience of signing a book. So sue me. (no, don’t, please don’t)
From Amazon.com:
“The hidden key to a healthy relationship is not just managing money but understanding how the other approaches money.
Every couple argues about money. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been married for 40 years or dating for 4 months, money touches every decision you make as a couple—from the $5 cup of coffee to the $50,000 car. And when the two of you don’t see eye-to-eye on how much to spend or how much to save, that’s when arguments turn into ugly toxic fights that leave both persons feeling hurt and angry. It’s why money has become the #1 cause of divorce in the U.S. Obviously, something needs to change. The reason this crisis has not been addressed is because it has never been identified, defined, or given a name. Scott and Bethany Palmer, aka “The Money Couple,” have identified and defined this problem and offer concrete solutions to fix it.
Once you know your Money Personality, you can get to the root of money arguments and start really working together. You’ll discover what has an impact on your loved one’s money decisions, and you’ll learn how to talk about money in a way that’s actually fun! You’ll figure out how to put an end to money secrets and lies once and for all.”
It’s not just about money management, and it’s definitely not just about overcoming debt. It is a whole new way of living that will change everything in your relationship. Tens of thousands have already been transformed. Are you ready?”
Well? Are you ready??

Thanks!!!!
Careless is how I would describe my money personality!
Thank you for this giveaway! Love your website, too.
I think my money personality is penny pincher. I love to find bargains, use coupons, thrift shop, etc. I really love it when I find a fantastic deal and can tell everyone about it. For instance, I just got a 100% wool pea coat – pristine condition – $5 at the thrift store. I’m super excited about this find.
I follow you on FB – who doesn’t????? I follow you on Twitter. I’m going right now to look you up in Pinterest. And I’ve shared the giveaway on my FB – public and everything!
This book would be perfect for my son and his fiance. They are getting married in April – I think getting a handle on money issues would be a great way to get started!
Frugal is my money personality and careless is my husband’s. Shhh…don’t tell him I said that!
My money personality is hopeful but sad.
I like to spend wisely for the most part.
Hmmm…… I vary between spending it wisely and then sudden sprees of spending.
Always spend wisely since were a family of 7:-)
