Time4Learning Review

Print Friendly

Y’all know that I am a homeschooling mom of 5 kids and part of my job is to find out the ways my children learn best and teaching to their strengths. My current 2nd grader HATES worksheets, and I don’t blame him. I’m quickly going broke with my current incentive plan (a random coin for each page completed) so I’m trying out an online environment for him.

Time4Learning has invited me to try their online curriculum for 30 days in exchange for an honest review. My opinion will be entirely my own, so come back and read about my experiences. Visit them for information about lesson plans, homeschool portfolios or writing your own curriculum review.

We have been using Time4Learning for many years with our two children and it really works well for us. They do their “computer work” in the morning which leaves our afternoons free to explore more hands on learning in the afternoon. (normally OUTSIDE :) I look forward to hearing how it works for your family!

Thus far my son really likes it, but we’re only using it for math. I’m not sure the $240/yr is worth it for just math. My son doesn’t like sitting at the computer for more than 30 minutes so I’m not sure we’ll continue, not because of the quality of the program though. I think this is something my 6 yr old would love, however, we have trouble getting him OFF the computer so I’m not sure it’s the best idea either, LOL.
